Does anyone out there have a problem with the Hoover Windtunnel vacuum?

The 'self cleaning' filter on my model will quit spinning and does not clean its 'self'. It worked wonderfully when I first got it 6 months ago but now the stupid filter is making it so it is not picking up with the hose. I have to keep manually cleaning the 'self cleaning' filter. Piece of junk.
