Iphone White Screen (Dont think its completely ****)?

I Replaced my digitizer as i have done before and when i reembled it i got a white screnn on turning it on i made sure all cinnectors were in properly they are. Hard reset hasnt worked however its recognised by itunes and i can sync and i have restored to factory defualts fine so i think it may just be the lcd but i did accidently leave the sim card inserted could this have broken something else? or do i just need a new screen ?
