Planning an experiment?

Ethanol has antibacterial properties, but the concentration is too low. The stearate and sorbitol are probably emulsifiers and are inert. The peppermint oil is just flavoring, but sometimes plant oils have antibacterial properties too. The main antibiotic ingredient is the chlorhexidine. Diluting the mouthwash with distilled water ought to work well enough.
