Are any Democrats bothered now knowing that if Obama and Palin were to run that Obama would barely win?

The most recent poll shows Obama would only beat Sarah Palin by 6% if they went against one another for President and Romney and Obama are tied. Are any Democrats scratching their heads now after slandering Palin and thinking that her political career was over with when in fact she has a very high poll rating and that all of the liberal political commentators were dead wrong about her and her strong viability?
